  1. So happy to have come across your videos. I immediately knew this is it! Subscribed and is doing them. Thank you so much. You’ve motivated this 68 year old lady again

  2. I am so happy I found your channel. I forgot how well I did doing Pilates years ago. Life got in the way and totally stopped working out. Well this 60 years young woman and her menopause’s stomach is getting back into the basics. A few years back we got an aero Pilates machine, it’s just doesn’t do anything for me. I wish there was a protein bar I could eat. I have so many food intolerances and allergies it’s nit even funny. Gluten, wheat, nuts, coconut, avocados, celery, watermelon ,corn and a few more. Started 15 years ago. Loving the workouts with you.

  3. This is a great workout! You give very clear instructions and I appreciate the modifications. I have osteoporosis and I want to keep my core strong to support my spine. I don’t want to give up fitness and I love that you are a physical therapist!

  4. Amazing job Jessica. I really appreciate your pace of movement and specific instructions on variations of a movement. Thank you! I will be working out with you.

  5. Tried your workout today, throughly enjoyed it, I’m extremely unfit as I discovered just how much my body is tight, but this was relatively comfortable for me, I’m going to keep this up for the next 30 days and hopefully see a difference, thank you Jessica x

  6. This was a very nice start to Pilates. When it was over was like it's done??? Could I do them all without the mods no but did more then thought I would without them. Will be adding this into my rotation. Need more on the floor exercises and don't hate this one. Thinking its a really good warm up before using the treadmill or doing kettlebells. Thanks!

  7. I just did this workout and I have two questions: 1. I found it very hard to do the spine twists (starting minute 14) with my hands behind my head so I stretched my arms out in T position and it was a lot more comfortable. Does this modification change the exercise? 2. I felt my left glute a lot more than my right glute during leg lifts in all-fours position. Is that normal? Finally, I'm really enjoying your workouts. They're helping me get back into regular exercise.

  8. I'm a complete beginner and thought this workout was at the perfect level. I needed to use all the modifications due to lack of flexibility and some issues with my lower back so thank you for including them!

  9. I've been doing your videos almost every day. And after a couple of weeks of just doing your videos at home, I went to my first pilates class. The instructor was so shocked by how good my form is as a beginner, so I told her it's because of your videos!

  10. I loved this video. I can pretty much do everything effortlessly with the exception of the roll down/roll up. Roll down, no problem, roll up….big problem. I’ve been doing Pilates for about 5 years. We got new teacher 2 years ago at our seniors centre. First time we were ever taught the Pilates roll down/up. I’ll be 70 in 3 months, so I’m pleased with what I’m able to accomplish. I I have arthritis in both hips, especially the right, so I do modify certain exercises. I was Sooooo pleased to see your recommendation for using a towel in performing the roll up!!! I’ve been searching for something to help me achieve this. I went to your mini video about doing roll down/up, and using a towel worked…it really worked!! ❤️❤️

  11. Love your channel! I’m so glad I found you. One thing I struggle with is a lot of “for everybody” videos have you grabbing your knee and pulling it to the chest to release your back. As someone with a big belly and thighs this doesn’t work. Is there and alternative to pulling your knee in the would do the same thing and allow for my shape?

  12. I have enjoyed your videos for the last 9 months, never carried for pilates much before, but have told all my friends about your videos. Looking forward to Pilates camp.

  13. Jessica, thank you so much for this wonderful Pilates workout for Beginners. I have always wanted to learn Pilates, but never found the right instructor. I will be accessing your videos from now own.

  14. Thank you Jessica for everything you do!! ❤️I've been dealing with POTS (postural orthostatic tahycardia syndrome) in the past year and for that reason I could only work out in the lying down position, but as I'm slowly getting better now I've been doing light workouts in a standing position, so I was wondering is there a barre workout for beginners on your channel? I feel like the ones I found are a bit too difficult for beginners.
Thank you again! You and your channel have been a huge part of my healing journey.

  15. Thank you! Very nice video.. I was super big into Pilates a few years ago and did even the reformer, which I LOVED, then whatever has happened and now Covid and I've lost so much strength. I've decided that me and my body really need to get back into this. I've decided to go slow and it's great, since I'm weak, but know the poses, I can take my time building up. Again, lovely video and thank you..
