Cecile Sutherland became acutely aware of the emerging need for home care services while observing her 78 year old mother providing loving care to her 96 year old father in their home in Florida. She and her siblings decided that their mother could no longer continue to provide care to their dad and reached out for the services of a home health aide.

Ms Sutherland is a registered nurse with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in Health Care Administration. She has extensive healthcare experience gained through increasingly demanding and responsible positions in hospitals, nursing homes, and ambulatory surgery centers.

When Florence Nightingale, who is known as the legendary compassionate nurse, opened the first official nursing school in London in 1860, her mission was not only to train nurses to work in hospitals and with the poor, but she also included that students cared for people in their homes. This is an appreciation that is still advancing in reputation and in professional opportunities for healthcare professionals and para-professionals all over the world.
